                After I saw the video I think that Kaitlyn Maher who is the lovely child. She has abilities. She is singing sweet. I like her very much. In addition I opened the other video about her. The first she came America's Got Talent. The commentator asked her that “Are you from New York?” and she answered that “I’m from America”. People laughed. ^O^

Step 1: Prewritten to Get Ideas

            At the beginning you made notes from the list of questions.

Step 2: Organize the Ideas

            Make a list of the ideas in the order that you will write. You will use this list to guide you as you write.

Step 3: Write the Rough Draft

            Write ROUGH DRAFT at the top of your paper.

•     Begin your composition with a sentence that names the person you admire.
•     Use your notes to write a rough draft of composition about the person you admire and use specific examples of admirable behavior or accomplishments.
•      End your composition with a sentence that tells why this person is admirable.

Sentence Structure

A simple sentence has one subject and one verb. The subject tells who or what did something. The verb tells the action. The verb tells the action.

These are simple sentence:


           S+ V


           I study.
           He speaks.
           It is raining.
           The teachers are teaching.

A sentence may also have a complement. The complement completes the meaning of the verb or adds more information to the sentence.


S+V+Complement


I study English.

He speaks Chinese.

The teachers are teaching in the university.

Capitalization Rules

These are important rules for capitalization.

1.     The first word of a sentence.

He speaks English.

2.    The pronoun I.

My dog is sick and I take care of it.

3.    Abbreviations and acronyms, which are words formed from the first letters of the words in the names of organization.

USA:   United States of America

FBI:   Federal Bureau of Investigation

4.    All proper nouns.

God, Diana, Lake Vitoria, Monday, January, English, etc.

What have you learned from lesson 1?

I have learned many things from lesson 1, for example the important rules for capitalization, the sentence structure about simple sentence consisting subject and verb, and the writing process. I have just read scanning, so I can explain a little. Next time I will add more information for your reading.
